Tögal
Tib. ཐོད་རྒལ་, thod rgal
one of the two principal practices of Dzogchen Menngagde, alongside Trekchö
Trekchö is primarily concerned with directly recognizing and stabilizing the primordially pure state of rigpa, while Tögal focuses on the spontaneous manifestation of this nature—its light, clarity, and visionary forms.
Tögal practice makes use of specific conditions for contemplation, including body posture, direction of gaze, light, and space. In some traditions, it is practiced under the open sky, in sunlight or moonlight, in darkness, and under other specific conditions.

The highest fruition of Tögal practice is the realization of the Rainbow Body.
